Turtle Canyon: Best VALUE Snorkel Tour
Turtle Canyon is located just off the coast of Waikiki. This is one of my favorite value options for snorkeling. It's a short tour that goes out to the snorkeling spot with no-frills.
If you're looking for a shorter snorkeling tour, this might be the one for you!

Adventure At A Glance
Kewalo Basin Harbor | OAHU
What to Bring:
Towel, Sunscreen, Swimsuit
How I Got There
Kewalo Basin Harbor is about 5 miles (8 km) from Waikiki. It's about a 15-minute drive without traffic. Parking at the harbor is very limited so I chose to get dropped off with Uber/Lyft.
My Favorite Part of This Tour:
This is a short 2-hour tour that took us to Turtle Canyon. For those who might get prone to motion sickness, this tour is one of the shortest tours available. It takes about 15-minutes to get to Turtle Canyon.
This boat also provides a snorkeling mat allowing easy snorkeling for novice snorkelers or those who may be nervous in open water ocean.
Bring a towel and change of clothes for after the tour! If you opt to be dropped off at the harbor, after the tour you can head over to SALT by Kakaako which is a great place to grab lunch. Moku's is one of my favorite restaurants over there!
►What I Pack: Snorkeling Trips
My favorite Dry Bag
I have this in a 25L. It's the perfect size and keeps all my gear dry.
Refillable water bottle
I use the 22oz. This HydroFlask dupe comes with a carabiner. I clip the water onto the outside of my Dry Bag clip so there's no risk of the water spilling.
