Arrival and Breakfast

Alii Nui Charters offers convenient transportation for guests staying on the west or south side of Maui. We drove from Lahaina, which took us about 20-25 minutes to reach the harbor. The sun was just rising as we arrived for 7:00am charter.

After a short safety briefing, we set sail and headed inside the boat to drop off our belongings. But before we started our snorkeling adventure, we couldn't resist indulging in the breakfast spread provided by Alii Nui.

From yogurt and fresh fruit to eggs and bacon, they had a full spread of breakfast items, including hot options. It was the perfect way to fuel up for the full day ahead. And it was….DELICIOUS!

Snorkeling at Turtle Point and Molokini Crater

As we made our way to the snorkeling spots, the crew handed out snorkel gear, including masks and fins. The first stop on our tour was Turtle Point, followed by the iconic Molokini Crater.

The ocean conditions were perfect, and the visibility was amazing. While snorkeling at Molokini Crater, we had the opportunity to see over 200 species of fish, 25 of which are endemic to the islands. The water was calm, making it a nice experience for both experienced and novice snorkelers.

Delicious Lunch and Refreshments

After our snorkeling adventure, we returned to the boat to find a delicious lunch waiting for us. Alii Nui Charters goes above and beyond when it comes to providing meals on their tours. The lunch buffet included a variety of options, including hot dishes like chicken and pulled pork.

They also offered a selection of alcoholic beverages, such as beer, seltzers, and sparkling wine. For those who preferred not to snorkel, there were two large netting areas on the boat where they could relax and enjoy the views while sipping on a refreshing drink.

Luxury and Attention to Detail

Alii Nui Charters truly exceeded our expectations with their attention to detail and luxurious amenities. From the moment we stepped on board, we felt well taken care of. They provided everything we could possibly need, from towels and reef-safe sunscreen to hair conditioner and even someone to clean our sunglasses.
