So, as the sun starts its descent, the excitement kicks in with the friendliest aloha welcome. And oh, the views of Honolulu Harbor from Aloha Tower.

Getting to the Luau

Distance from Waikiki to the Luau: 5 miles (8 km)
The Luau is about a 15-minute drive from Waikiki. To get to the luau, you can drive a rental car, taxi/Uber/Lyft, or take the luau transportation.

• Valet Parking: $10/hr
• Roundtrip transportation: $19 per person

One-way via Uber/Lyft runs about $20-25. If you're 2-guests or more, taking a taxi/ Uber/Lyft might make the most sense instead of paying per person $19.

What I Packed

If you opt to have a few cocktails, guests over 21+ years old will need to bring a photo ID. Luaus are 100% outdoors. On the day of the luau, it rained and we were provided with rain ponchos. I also brought my own rain jacket.
