► Tour/Activity Options
While it can vary by surf school, in general there are three main types of lessons:
Private Surf Lesson
- Private: These lessons are 1:1 with just you and the instructor. This is the best option if it's your 1st time surfing and you'd like more instructor time.
Semi-Private Surf Lesson
- Semi-private: These lessons are typically 2 people in the same family/group with 1 instructor (so a 2:1 ratio). This a great option to learn to surf with your group with more instructor time but has a lower price point than a 1:1 lesson
Group Surf Lesson
- Group: These surf lessons are the most economical and can vary in group size (usually 5-10 students per 1 instructor). This will give the least instructor time but could be a fun introductory to surfing at a lower price point.
